Securing the Booking: The booking will be secured once the deposit and rent, as detailed on the invoice, has been received in full by the Owner before arrival. In the absence of payment being received, the Owner reserves the right to cancel the rental.
Forms of Payment: Payments may be made to the Owner in pounds sterling by: BACS transfer, cheque or banker's draft, Visa, MasterCard, Switch, or American Express. Credit card payments carry a handling fee: Visa/Mcard 2.88, Amex 3.52. There is on handling fee for payment by Debit card.
Deposit: The deposit agreed with the Owner is required to be paid at the time of booking and must be sent to the Owner with a completed booking form. The deposit is payable to secure the reservation and will be subsequently held against any arrears of rent, dilapidation and/or breakages that may occur. Should the Owner agree to the period of occupation being extended, the same deposit will be carried over for the duration of the rental. The deposit, or any balance after deductions, will be refunded following the Owner’s representative’s inspection of the apartment and settlement of all accounts, normally within a period of 14 days from departure.
Cancellation & Early Departure: All cancellations must be notified immediately by telephone and then confirmed in writing. Once the booking has been confirmed, no refunds will be given unless a minimum of 14 days notice is given, subject to the Owners discretion.
Inclusive & Additional Charges: Rentals quoted include gas, electricity, heating/air-conditioning, water, basic cable television package and local council tax charges. The Owner reserves the right to adjust control systems if fuel/power is wasted unnecessarily. Prices quoted also include a weekly housekeeping service; additional week-day housekeeping is available at extra cost. Broadband and Car parking is available on application.
Arrival, Check-in & Departure: Apartments are reserved from 2pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure, unless an early arrival or later departure time is requested and agreed in advance with the Owner. An estimated arrival time is required a minimum of 72 hours in advance in order for the Owner to arrange a representative to attend the check-in. For arrivals after 6pm, official check-in will be conducted on the subsequent morning however, keys will be made available to the tenant from a mutually agreed collection point.
Keys: Unless otherwise agreed, keys and remote control devices will be available for collection from the Owner’s representative or key collection box, with one set being issued unless otherwise requested. Any keys or remote control devices lost must be reported to the Owner’s representative immediately. A replacement set will be issued as soon as possible at a cost of £30 for keys and £50 for remote control devices. If a Client locks himself/herself out of the property and requires the Owner’s assistance to gain entry, the Owner reserves the right to charge an administration fee of a minimum of £50 together with any direct costs incurred i.e. locksmith’s charges.
Loss or Injury: The Owner accepts no liability or responsibility for loss or damage to personal property nor for any costs incurred by Clients due to travelling delays or alterations, nor for personal accident, death or injury to the Client or any persons using the accommodation provided or member of the Client’s party or visitor howsoever caused.
Occupancy: The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of occupants listed on the Booking Form. This must not be exceeded. The Owner reserves the right to terminate the rental without notice and without refund in the case of a breach of this condition.
Cleaning: All properties are professionally cleaned on departure. Clients are responsible for leaving the apartment in the same condition as on arrival i.e. interior fixtures and fittings in the same place state and condition, crockery and cutlery washed-up and returned to cupboards and all rubbish disposed of. |
